An investment property value ?5m with mortgage ?3.5m is owned by A ltd. Mr B is the 100% shareholder of A ltd Looking to re-finance and the most effective way if for the new finance to be in Mr B’s name. Both Mr B and Ltd are partners in a LLP. Is it possible to transfer from A ltd to Mr B with out incurring SDLT either directly or via the LLP?
