SDLT and VAT Webinar

Patrick chaired and presented a webinar for LexisNexis with Etienne Wong on SDLT and VAT in commercial property in August 2018. In his presentation Patrick dealt with mixed use claims and explained the latest position that HMRC are taking in enquiries concerning such claims by purchasers to pay the lower Table B rates of SDLT on houses purchased with extensive areas of land instead of the 12-15% Table A rates.
